How to Keep Your Feet Moisturized for the Winter

From being at the beach all day to bundling up for the colder weather, our skin doesn’t know how to react! Cooler weather tends to dry out our skin, and nothing is worse than having a nice pedicure done but your feet aren’t up to par. Here at Studio 237 we have a few tips for you to use this fall to keep your feet looking their best.

WE HAVE A FEW WAYS TO COMBAT DRY SKIN

One of our favourite ways to remove the dead skin buildup is using a foot paddle. It is the perfect tool to remove all dead skin. You can use the foot paddle on dry feet or if you’ve just stepped  out of the shower and they’re still damp. If you tend to have cracked heels scrub with the crack instead of against the crack of the heel.

THE PRODUCTS WE RECOMMEND

One of our favourite creams to use on your feet is the Alessandro International Pedix Feet Heel Rescue Balm . We recommend this product because it is the best for rough, dry feet. When you use it regularly it will help prevent the formation of calluses. It is an exfoliating scrub with sea salt and essential oils. And it’s great to use with your foot paddle!

OUR TAKE HOME SPA PACKAGE

We offer a take home package in the spa that is perfect for you at home pedicures. In it includes a foot paddle, a nail buffer, nail file, mini cuticle oil, and the Pedix Feet Heel Rescue Balm. Use the nail buffer to buff the surface of toenails, it smoothes the nail surface and helps reduce the nail ridges. Mini cuticle oil hydrates the cuticle and nail, it is perfect if you have dry nails and helps prevent hangnails.

Make sure you pop in during the fall and winter months to treat yourself to a pedicure!
